Community Associations and Leisure Activities
In Varde Municipality, we offer a wide range of leisure activities for you and your family, and there is a little something for everyone. We have a strong community of associations, which helps create a sense of togetherness. For example, you can play football and handball, participate in badminton and tennis, swim and dance, play chess, practice gymnastics, join the scouts, or explore amateur theatre.
To become a member of these associations, you will need to pay a membership fee, which varies depending on the activity you wish to participate in.
Examples of approximate membership fees:
- Varde Cycling Club - 500 DKK annually
- Varde Gymnastics Association - 600 DKK per season
- Nørre Nebel Tennis - 650 DKK per year for a family
